For over two decades, I've been bridging what's technically possible and what businesses actually need. My job is to take the architectural sprawl of modern enterprise IT — multi-cloud footprints, converging infrastructure, legacy constraints — and translate it into clear, validated designs that teams can build and trust. It's a craft that demands equal parts technical depth and human intuition, and it's work I genuinely love.
My career spans network engineering, cybersecurity, virtualisation, cloud delivery, and pre-sales — across Nutanix, VCE, and CSC — and every role has added a layer of depth to how I think about solving hard problems. Today I work in Nutanix's Solutions & Performance Engineering team: an R&D function where I develop reference architectures and validated designs, and carry the voice of our largest customers directly into product and engineering decisions.
I've led some of Nutanix's largest professional services engagements in EMEA, acted as trusted advisor to strategic accounts, and mentored architects across the region. Two of the world's most exclusive infrastructure certifications — NPX #26 and NCX-MCI #34 — reflect that depth.
Born in Germany and having spent most of my career there, I made the leap to the Netherlands with my family in 2023. Maastricht turned out to be the best decision we made — a city that feels both deeply European and wonderfully intimate, right at the crossroads of three countries.

Staff Solutions Architect
In the Solutions & Performance Engineering team — Nutanix's internal R&D function — I develop reference architectures and validated designs that ship to customers worldwide. I work directly with Engineering and Product Management, carrying the voice of our most strategic customers into product decisions and translating their requirements into authoritative, deployable guidance at scale.
Principal Consulting Architect
Spent seven years in Nutanix's Professional Services organisation, growing from Consulting Architect to Principal — the most senior technical delivery role on the team. Led some of Nutanix's largest engagements across EMEA, served as trusted advisor to strategic accounts across the region, and built a deep specialism in DevOps and automation. Mentored and onboarded architects across the EMEA practice throughout that time.
Solutions Architect
Deployed Vblock converged infrastructure systems at enterprise customer sites across the globe as part of the VCE field team — a joint venture between EMC, Cisco, and VMware. Hands-on, high-stakes delivery work that sharpened my instincts for large-scale infrastructure integration. (VCE was later folded into EMC and ultimately Dell Technologies.)
Solutions Architect
Grew professionally at CSC over a decade — starting as a Network Engineer, moving through Compute and Virtualisation, and eventually helping shape the company's cloud delivery standards and private cloud offerings. A later move into the Cloud Sales organisation gave me my first deep exposure to pre-sales advisory work: discovering customer needs, framing problems, and defining solutions. (CSC merged with HPE's Enterprise Services unit to become DXC Technology in 2017.)

Completed a dual-track vocational apprenticeship as an IT specialist in the field of systems integration.

University entrance qualification with focus subjects in English, Computer Sciences, and History.
